VSP Provider

Optic Gallery Summerlin accepts many different vision and medical insurances, including Vision Service Plan (VSP). Typically, a vision insurance plan is an optional supplement to your medical plan. For example, while your vision insurance may be United Health Care, your vision insurance may be VSP. VSP is the largest vision insurance company in the United States. Our doctors are proud to be VSP providers for all services including eye examinations, glasses, and contact lenses. VSP typically offers an eye examination and optical material benefit once per year. Some plans may renew on January 1st while others renew one year after they were last used. Your VSP insurance can be used on any of our lines of eyeglasses frames lenses, and contact lenses. Culinary

Optic Gallery Summerlin accepts many different vision and medical insurances, including Culinary Health Fund. Our doctors are providers for the Culinary Health Fund for routine comprehensive eye exams administered through Eyemed. Many Culinary members don’t realize their insurance includes benefits for an eye examination and discounted optical materials. Culinary insurance provides a comprehensive eye exam and materials benefits annually. Your materials benefit can be used on any of the eyeglasses, lenses, and contact lenses we offer in our office. Eyemed

Optic Gallery Summerlin accepts many different vision and medical insurance, including Eyemed. Typically, a vision insurance plan is an optional supplement to your medical plan. For example, while your vision insurance may be Aetna, your vision insurance may be Eyemed. Eyemed is one of the fastest growing vision insurances in the United States. Our doctors are Eyemed providers for all services including eye exams, glasses, and contacts. Eyemed provides benefits that usually include a comprehensive eye examination and discounted optical materials once per year. Some plans may renew on January 1st while others renew one year after they were last used. Your Eyemed insurance can be used on any of the eyeglass frames, lenses or contact lenses that our office carries. Medicaid

Optic Gallery Summerlin is a credentialed provider for most Medicaid insurances, including Medicaid/NV Check Up (sometimes referred to as straight Medicaid) and Health Plan of Nevada. Unfortunately we are not providers for the Blue Cross Medicaid at this time. Medicaid typically provides insurance for both routine comprehensive eye exams and for medical eye exams for pink eyes, cataracts, etc. The vision portion of Medicaid covers a comprehensive eye examination and one pair of glasses once per year. This benefit may be used for frames that are Medicaid approved and completely covered, or alternatively you may use your benefit to receive a discounted price on any of our other lines of eyeglass frames.
